XuFancheng Culture Study Center (Xu-CSC) 徐梵澄文化研究中心 is a research center that specializes in the comprehensive study of the intricate cultural and historical exchanges between India, China, and Eurasian countries.
It provides a scholarly platform for youths and wider public to cultivate a deeper understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures and work together for making a better World.
The center’s work extends to a wide range of fields, including but not limited to Culture and Academic programs, with a particular focus on the study of Professor XuFancheng’s works on Sri Aurobindo, India-China cultural relations, Environment and Biodiversity, Poverty Alleviation, UN SDGs Goals, and Youth Mentorship.

Our vision is to become a global center for cultural exchange and preservation, with a focus on India, China, and Eurasian cultural traditions. We aim to promote cross-cultural understanding and appreciation, foster cultural exchange, and preserve cultural heritage for future generations.
Our mission is to provide a platform for scholars, students, and the general public to engage with the diverse cultural traditions of India, China, and Eurasian nations. We work towards preserving cultural heritage through documentation and digitization efforts, organize cultural programs, workshops, and exhibitions to showcase various elements of India-China-Eurasia culture, develop educational resources and programs to increase cultural awareness and understanding, and collaborate with other cultural organizations, universities, and museums to increase our impact and reach. We also aim to facilitate cultural exchanges between scholars, students, and the general public to promote cultural understanding and exchange.

On October 26th, 2020, the XuFancheng Culture Study Center was officially inaugurated by Ambassador Sun Weidong and Chief Minister of Pondicherry Sri Narayanasamy. The center was founded to fulfill Prof. XuFancheng’s vision of connecting the vast heritage of Indian and Chinese civilizations. This momentous occasion marked the 111th anniversary and celebrated 70 years of cultural relations between India and China.
It is with great pleasure that I introduce the XuFancheng Culture Study Center (Xu-CSC) to you. As the Director of this esteemed institution, I am thrilled to invite you to be a part of our initiative. Xu-CSC is a research center that focuses on the study of rich cultural and historical exchanges between India-China and Eurasian countries. Our center provides a study platform for youths and the general public to engage with diverse cultures and environments, fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
Our center works in various fields, including Culture and Academic programs, Environment and Biodiversity protection, poverty alleviation, UN SDGs, and Youth mentorship. We strive to promote cultural exchanges and provide a deeper understanding of the cultural heritage of India, China, and Eurasian nations.
Continuing the efforts of Ambassador Luo Zhaohui, Ambassador Sun Weidong, and Madam Amb. Bao jiqing and various other significant officials, scholars, and individuals who had contributed for the opening of the XuFancheng Culture Study Center, we dedicated ourselves to continue the Journey and make the center as the most important bridge to help build communication, exchanges and people to people relations between the 2 historical great civilisations India and China.

The XuFancheng Culture Study Center is a premier cultural center dedicated to the preservation, research, and promotion of Chinese culture, and India-China culture and heritage. We are currently working on a Library and Information Resource Centre project, which aims to provide access to a wealth of information and resources on India-China cultural studies.
The repository of books, journals, and other materials related to this subject will be a valuable resource for students, scholars, and the general public, and will contribute to the preservation, research, and promotion of Chinese and India-China culture and heritage.
