XuFancheng Culture Study Center participates as an Observer at COP15 Part 1 UN Biodiversity Conference.
The 15th Conference of the Parties (COP15) to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) was a significant international meeting that brought together governments from all around the world. COP15 aimed to discuss, negotiate and decide on new and improved strategies to preserve and sustain biodiversity across the globe. The first part of COP15 was held virtually from 11-15 October 2021, and it addressed crucial agenda items identified as essential for the continuation of the Convention’s operations and protocols by the Bureau.
The COP15 conference was particularly relevant to issues related to biodiversity, and its focus was on preserving the earth’s natural systems and protecting our ecosystems’ diversity. Dr Bikash Kali Das was one such individual who participated in the conference as an observer.
