The United Nations Biodiversity Conference, COP15, took place in two parts in 2021 and 2022. The first part was virtual, while the second part was held in Montreal, Canada, from December 7-19, 2022. Dr. BikashKali Das participated as an observer at the conference, representing the XuFancheng Culture Study Center.

The grand finale of “Bharati Vizha 2022” was a musical theatrical drama that left the audience spellbound. This event was held on 12th September, commemorating the completion of 100 years of the great poet and freedom fighter, Mahakavi Bharatiyar.
The inaugural ceremony of Bharathi Vizha 2022, organized by XuFancheng Culture study center, was a grand celebration of the life and works of the great poet Subramaniya Bharathiyar. The one-week program was aimed at promoting awareness and appreciation of Indian culture and arts among students from schools and colleges. The event was set to run from September 3 to September 11, 2022.
To celebrate this historic event, the “XuFancheng Culture Study Center” organized an event at the “Art and Craft Village” in Pondicherry, with the support of the “Government of Puducherry’s Department of Tourism”. The event aimed to bring together 75 artists from Pondicherry to perform in honor of the 75th year of independence.
On June 1st, 2022, Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong, Madam Ambassador Diana Bao, Cultural Counsellor Zhang Jianxin, and other Chinese embassy delegates paid a visit to the XuFancheng Culture Study Center. This visit was significant for the center as it gave them the opportunity to showcase their developments and achievements to the Chinese delegation.
Both Mahakavi Bharathiyar and Prof. XuFancheng were polyglots and poets. Understanding the significance of these two writers in promoting Indian culture, a drama on both of these scholars is curated by the team and presented in front of the Chinese Ambassador to India Sun Weidong, Madam Ambassador Diana Bao, and Cultural Counselor Zhang Jianxin.
On April 30, 2022, Madam Radha met with Mr Nedunkilli Rajaraman, the representative from the “US Library of Congress, US EMBASSY” to donate a special book. The book, entitled “Essays in Memory of XuFancheng,
“Photo Exhibition on the Biodiversity of Pondicherry” held on 29th January 2022 at Bharati Park.exhibition, organized by XuFancheng Culture Study Center, Pondicherry Youth Entrepreneurs Network, and Indigenous Biodiversity Foundation, aimed to showcase the diverse flora and fauna of Pondicherry through the lens of talented photographers. The event was inaugurated by Hon’ Tourism Minister of Pondicherry Shri K. Lakshminarayanan.
