Master Zhang Zhenzhong 张振中 is 88 years old this year, retired for more than 20 years. He always dealt with calligraphy at work. After retiring, writing calligraphy became his hobby. Every New Year’s Day, community residents will ask him to write Spring Festival couplets on the door (Chinese Spring Festival has a tradition of pasting Spring Festival couplets, which means good luck and good luck in the New Year).

Chinese calligraphy has a long history . According to modern textual research, it is generally believed that Chinese characters originated in the “Yangshao Culture Period” in the middle reaches of the Yellow River in China about 5,000 years ago. The ancestors regarded them as a form of artistic expression. Therefore, a kind of traditional art unique to Chinese characters-Chinese calligraphy was produced. After 3000 years of accumulation and creation, there is a profound cultural accumulation and the artistic charm of calligraphy Yu Fa. 中国书法历史悠久 据近代考证,一般认为中国的汉字起源于距今5000年左右的中国黄河中游的“仰韶文化时期”,先人将其当作一种艺术表现形式。因此产生了中国汉字特有的一种传统艺术——中国书法。经过3000年的积累与创造,有着深厚的文化积淀,书法俞发艺术魅力。

Chinese calligraphy is beautiful, there are traditionally five forms Indian Prime Minister Nehru once said: “There is an ancient country in the world, and every word in it is a beautiful painting and a beautiful poem. Chinese calligraphy takes masculine and softness as its beauty. The lines, strength, three-dimensionality, and rhythm of calligraphy determine the masculine and feminine feel of calligraphy. Good calligraphy combines masculinity and femininity. Without losing the sense of beauty. Lines are the basis of calligraphy, the most direct embodiment of calligraphy, and an important medium for calligraphers to express their emotions. Chinese calligraphy includes five script styles: running script, cursive script, official script, seal script and regular script. Each has its own characteristics. This is a writing rule of language symbols. According to the characteristics and meaning of the characters, it is written with the brushwork, structure and composition of Chinese characters to create a sense of beauty. In particular, the seal script is as interesting as painting, and the structure is also beautiful, which is very popular among people. The art of Chinese calligraphy requires not only beautiful appearance, but also spiritual connotation. Appreciating a calligraphy work requires not only looking at each word, but also as a whole. Many calligraphers spring up in Chinese history There are many calligraphers in ancient China. Among them, there are four more famous calligraphers, namely Ouyang Xun, Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, and Zhao Mengfu. They are the representatives of Ou Ti, Yan Ti, Liu Ti and Zhao Ti. Yan Zhenqing is the most innovative calligrapher among the four great masters. He is able to draw on the strengths of hundreds of schools to form his own unique body. Yan Zhenqing is not only good at regular script, his cursive is also unique. Liu Gongquan’s handed down calligraphy is mostly copied by later calligraphy practitioners, and has extremely high artistic value. His fonts are clean, vigorous, and unique. Later generations called Liu Gongquan’s regular script and Yan Zhenqing’s regular script “Yan Jin Liu Gu”. Among Zhao Mengfu’s calligraphy, regular script and running script are the more famous ones. The most characteristic of his calligraphy is gentleness and elegance.
